What are the dates?


This year’s World Peace Indoor Soccer Tournament will be held from Monday, 10th of October up to and including Friday, 14th of October 2022.


Who can participate?


The World Peace Indoor Soccer Tournament is the only world championship indoor soccer (futsal) event exclusively for government teams.

The World Peace Indoor Soccer Tournament is open to: Police Officers, Fire fighters, Customs Officers, Military personnel, Tax Officers, personnel of the Ministry of Interior and state, provincial or municipal employees and staff from the various ministries.


How can I register to join the tournament?


If your team wishes to take part in the World Peace Indoor Soccer Tournament, your application form must be submitted no later than the 1st of July of the tournament year.

What are the payment options?


Option 1: Pay upon arrival.

You will be required to pay for your chalet, bungalow or hotel upon your arrival at the Marveld resort in October .

Option 2: Preferred booking:

After mailing the application form and receiving an invoice from our organisation, the total payment per person must be received by the WPIST by bank transfer before the 25th of September.

Advantages of preferred booking:

  • No carrying of cash money
  • You will avoid long waiting lines upon your arrival at the tournament
  • Your team will gain immediate access to their chalet, bungalow or hotel.

Tournament entry fee:

185 euros per team (to be paid by the 1st of July ).

If you need a visa to enter the Netherlands, make sure that the WPIST receives a list with all your delegation members no later than the 1st of July of the tournament year.

Please include all delegation member family names, surnames, dates of birth, passport numbers, passport issue and expiry dates.

The visa procedures at the Dutch embassies are very strict and we cannot stress enough how important it is to be on time with your visa application. For more information concerning the visa procedure click here.




Teams arriving on flights into Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Cologne-Bonn, Weeze, or Düsseldorf Airports can use our convenient airport service.

Transfers to and from the airport of arrival/departure will cost €49.50 per person, both ways. The €49.50 includes daily transfer from the Marveld resort to all sports halls. You are required to pay these transportation fees directly to the bus company. Please notify us of your travel arrangements and group size as soon as possible.

What shall I do first when I arrive?


On arrival please report to the reception desk of Bungalow resort Marveld, Address Elshofweg 6, Groenlo. Even if your team is not staying on Marveld resort but in another resort or hotel you must report to the Marveld reception. Only the delegation leader or team captain are allowed to go inside the reception during the check in procedure! Of course you may bring an interpreter if necessary.

If you have prefered booking:
The preferred bookers will receive immediately when arriving:

  • Bungalow/ chalet keys.
  • Tournament schedule.
  • The tournament wrist band and participant/meal card.
  • Information package including tournament schedule.
  • Car/bus stickers.

After visiting the preferred booking office you may go and check in
immediately to your bungalow, chalet or hotel.

Teams without prefered booking:
At the reception you:

  • Will have to pay for accommodation.
  • Receive your bungalow / chalet keys.
  • Receive the tournament wrist bands and participant/meal card.
  • Car/bus stickers. You are obligated to
    put the sticker on the windscreen of
    your car or bus.

After the Marveld reception you should go to the information office on the opposite side of the Marveld reception. This information office is situated above the bowling center. Here you will receive all information necessary for the tournament including the tournament schedule!! After visiting this office you may go to your bungalow, chalet or hotel unpack and settle in.


What does the price includes?


The prices include the following:

  • Housing in the chalets, bungalows or the Hotel in the Marveld resort.
  • 4 days of a self-serve, buffet style breakfast
  • 4 days of a self-serve, buffet style dinner
  • Rental of a pillow case, sheet and quilt cover (bungalows & chalets have no towels) In the hotel are all these items included.
  • Unlimited entrance to the tropical swimming paradise and other swimming pools
  • A trophy for each team
  • Delegation leader/ team captain’s buffet and drinks during the WPIST team captains meeting on Monday  in the late afternoon.
  • Badge and textile promotion strap/cord for every participant
  • Daily parties with live music bands
  • Superb opening and closing ceremonies
  • Free entrance to the discotheque and parties
  • Tourist tax
  • Extra for the guests of the Marveld hotel; Free entrance to the sauna, Turkish steam baths & swimming pool in the Marveld hotel.


When should I’ll be there?


Most teams will arrive on Thursday before the tournament and on Monday.  But all teams are obliged to attend the opening ceremony on Monday.

Between 18.30 and 19.30h on Monday all teams should be present in the sports hall in Eibergen.

IMPORTANT: Teams arriving during the weekend please call us 1 hour before arriving at Marveld reception so we are prepared for your arrival. Call the phone number 0031-653333083. (Harry Engels).

  • If you do not book the weekend before, bungalows on Monday are not available before 11.30h!
  • When arriving before 11.30h it's possible to have a coffee and snacks in the restaurant.
  • Please arrive on Monday  before 15.30 h.This way you can attend the opening ceremonies.




Yes. During the tournament we have 4 days of a self-serve, buffet style breakfast and buffet style dinner.

To receive breakfast or dinner you will have to bring your “foodservice badge”. You get this at the receiption after your arrival. Every time you have your breakfast and/or dinner the Marveld staff will punch a hole in your participant badge. You will have to wear this badge all the time! Without this badge you will not be able to request any meals.

The tournament food service starts with diner on Monday and ends with breakfast on Friday.

The weekend before you can use the excellent Marveld resort restaurants.

Marveld also offers a good snack bar and asupermarket for staying guests.


Do you have a tournament schedule or a tournament plan?


Yes. The tournament schedule is available a few days before the tournament online on this site. On arrival at Marveld you get a print Version of it.

When do I have to depart?


All teams will need to depart no later than Friday, 14th of October. For participants who wish to spend more time in the Netherlands, special accommodation is available oneweek prior to the official start of the tournament.

On special request the Marveld hotel will be available after the tournament.
